If you’re looking for something simple and intimate, start here. Kristen & Travis chose to gather a handful of their closest friends & family to witness their sweet ceremony at Simply Married in downtown Toledo. This quaint chapel is tucked in the heart of our city open to the brides and grooms who prefer cherishing these special moments in a more intimate way.
And just like that, summer is upon us. I feel like we spend our winters trying to relax, traveling, etc, while also preparing for the year, getting new gear and coordinating timelines. Spring rolls around and we get teasers of warm weather and sunshine, but still rainy and cold days. Sundresses and pool days seem far away. Then BOOM, June is here with its 85 degree days, beautiful blue skies and backyard weddings.
If you know anything about downtown Toledo, you know that things. are. happening. Businesses are growing, people are moving in, and renovations are taking place around every corner. It’s so exciting to see what has changed in just the last three years. We have a love for this city and we are truly proud to be a part of it, so when our couples share that same love and they tell us they want to show off their city, we are, of course, on board.
On the other side of our busy wedding weekend, we have Brandee & Jason. These two are some of the most genuine people we know and I don’t think we’ve ever seen them without smiles on their faces. It is clear that their family and friends mean the world to them and we couldn’t wait to see this celebration come together.
We had quite the ‘wedding weekend’ this weekend. Two gorgeous weddings with the sweetest of couples, the coolest of bridal parties, some amazing vendors and a whole lot of fun. Even with rain in the forecast, we knew this weekend was going to be amazing. Let’s start with Ann & Brandon’s stunning navy & gold wedding with unique greenery and details that gave us heart eyes like the emoji that we all know and love.
