On the other side of our busy wedding weekend, we have Brandee & Jason. These two are some of the most genuine people we know and I don’t think we’ve ever seen them without smiles on their faces. It is clear that their family and friends mean the world to them and we couldn’t wait to see this celebration come together.
We had quite the ‘wedding weekend’ this weekend. Two gorgeous weddings with the sweetest of couples, the coolest of bridal parties, some amazing vendors and a whole lot of fun. Even with rain in the forecast, we knew this weekend was going to be amazing. Let’s start with Ann & Brandon’s stunning navy & gold wedding with unique greenery and details that gave us heart eyes like the emoji that we all know and love.
It's easy to forget how lucky we are to have Lake Erie in our little corner of Ohio. It is such an awesome destination for families and we know a lot of people who call it their summer home. We find ourselves visiting Kelleys Island a couple times year, camping at East Harbor State Park, drinking delicious wine at Mon Ami and shooting beautiful weddings and engagement sessions in the area. That’s exactly what brought us to Marblehead in early May.
Carissa & Cory are a super sweet pair. Their love and admiration for each other is very apparent and we are so glad to have been a part of this beautiful wedding day. Half of the time, we didn't even have to direct them in posing. They have a natural way of looking into each other's eyes and cuddling close that is super photographable. Not to mention, the rainy spring weather took a break just in time for this beautiful day. Everything came together flawlessly and we are so excited to share this story.
We always love a good greenhouse engagement session, so we were thrilled when Lexa invited us to her family's business, Hecklinger's Greenhouse, for her and Kirt's engagement session. It was everything we could have imagined as we stepped into the huge space where plants and flowers are cared for until they bloom to perfection to be sold down the street at the storefront.
