The first time we met with Whitney to discuss her and Kenneth’s New Year’s Eve wedding, we absolutely loved how incredibly sweet she was. She was so easy to talk to, which made getting to know her personality and vision for the engagement session and wedding so enjoyable. We planned on having their engagement session at Wildwood Metropark as soon as spring came around and we had fun discussing outfit ideas (like most girls would). When it came time for their session, they arrived perfectly coordinated and ready for their time in front of the camera.
This was our first session after we had a wonderful experience at our own engagement session, so it was fun to be back behind the camera, giving someone else that same experience. We had a great time and Whitney & Kenneth made it so easy. Their ability to make conversation, relax and just enjoy the walk around the park was so wonderful. The early spring scenery at Wildwood made for a dramatic and gorgeous backdrop, with bits of greenery just starting to emerge - much different than our last visit to the park for our double wedding weekend in October!
Part of Whitney & Kenneth’s wedding planning is putting together a little theme for their New Year’s Eve nuptials. What better way to ring in the new year with your closest friends and family counting down the minutes and seconds to 2016?! To go along with that, they are collecting antique clocks as decor for their center pieces. We wanted to wrap this idea into the engagement session, so we ended the evening in front of the clock tower at Levis Commons, just counting down the days till they say ‘I Do’.
