We had quite the ‘wedding weekend’ this weekend. Two gorgeous weddings with the sweetest of couples, the coolest of bridal parties, the most amazing vendors and a whole lot of fun. Even with rain in the forecast, we knew this weekend was going to be amazing. Let’s start with Ann & Brandon’s stunning navy & gold wedding with unique greenery and details that gave us heart eyes like the emoji that we all know and love.
We started the morning at the The New Ultimate Impressions Salon where the ladies had their hair styled in soft waves. The talented Amy Lewis was also there to make up the ladies in beautiful smoky eyes and berry red lips. The excitement was contagious and it was so nice seeing everyone gush over the beautiful bride-to-be. With a champagne toast on the bus, we were off to the church to meet up with the guys (but made sure Ann & Brandon didn’t spot each other). While the guys struggled with their pocket squares, the ladies slipped into their gorgeous gold sequin dresses. Once Ann’s mom helped her into her dress, it was time to see her groom-to-be!
These two opted to do a first look before the ceremony which allowed them to set aside plenty of time to enjoy the day and take photos with their bridal party. We enjoyed the historic architecture of St. Mark Lutheran Church and then made our way downtown. With the threat of rain all day, we decided to go with our backup plan of doing photos at Rustbelt Coffee. Although the rain held off, we couldn’t have asked for a better plan B. Rustbelt has the perfect urban warehouse vibe that we all love, and is an awesome representation of the history of downtown Toledo. If the location looks familiar to you, it’s because Brooks and I got married here just over a year ago!
After a relaxing and fun afternoon with the bridal party, it was time to head back to the church for a sweet ceremony. Ann & Brandon have some very musically talented friends who opened the ceremony with amazing tunes. Their I dos were capped off with a shower of bubbles from friends and family. Then we were off to the reception to dance the night away!
Watching the sun set over Lake Erie at Maumee Bay State Park was the perfect ending to this beautiful day. We had fun on the dance floor with Ultimate Nights DJ and guests had a blast in Swatch Photobooth. By now, Ann & Brandon are exploring Joshua Tree for an adventurous honeymoon that is perfect for them. Here's to the new Mr. & Mrs. Kinsman and many more years of adventure!
Keep an eye out for the other half of this wonderful wedding weekend and follow us on Facebook & Instagram to see more sneak peeks! We owe a HUGE shoutout to the wonderful team that brought this day together!
